A low mid-century credenza in cherry with Danish-cord sliding doors and open shelving, on splayed tapered legs.
The Arnold Credenza is a low, mid-century-inspired case piece in cherry, lifted on splayed, tapered legs. Two sliding doors, faced in hand-woven Danish cord, run on the front; slid apart, they open onto interior shelving and a run of upright dividers sized for records.
Every joint is cut by hand. The top corners are joined with through-dovetails, their dark contrasting keys set into the lighter wood — visible, deliberate, and done one at a time. The frame is kept slim so the cord panels and the grain of the case carry the piece.
Built in our Madison shop, it’s designed to live with — here holding a record collection, a globe, and a stack of books, doors sliding to reach whatever’s behind them.
